Double Exposure


  1. As this the artist of these pieces, what was your main objective?

  2. My my main objective was to create an illusion that the people are dissolving into other images.

  3. What tools did we primarily use for this project?

  4. I primarily used the paint brush tool and layer masks.

  5. What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?

  6. It was challenging to find pictures that were not blurry for the project.

  7. One of the options for this project was to remove the background of your main image. If you chose that option for one or all your pieces, what tools or techniques did you use to remove it? Were there some tools or techniques that worked better for you than others?

  8. I used the quick selection tool to remove the background and then the paint bucket tool to add the background. I felt that the tools were easier to use than others.

  9. What are the advantages of using a Layer Mask to create the Double Exposure effect?

  10. The layer mask is an easier tool to use because it lets you move around photos and create illusions with ease.
