Polaroid Portrait


  1. As the artist of this piece, what was your main objective?

  2. My main objective was to create the illusion of myself holding the polaroids.

  3. What tools did we primarily use for this project?

  4. I primarily used the eraser tool, the gradient tool, the paint tool, and the rectangular marque tool.

  5. What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?

  6. It was challenging to make some limbs look like they are popping out of the polaroid.

  7. What tools or techniques did you choose to use to remove your background? Were there some tools or techniques that worked better for you than others?

  8. I used the quick selection tool to remove my background,. I found that it was easier to use that tool than any other.

  9. What are the advantages of using a Layer Mask to create and organize your Polaroid Shapes?

  10. IT was very simple and gave us the ability to move the polaroid wherever we wanted without it ruining the original photo.
